2050 Vision: WHA's Strategic Planning Journey Working towards a new strategic framework by July 2025
What is the 2050 Vision?

Wildlife Health Australia (WHA) is Australia’s national independent body driving collaborative action to better prevent, anticipate and respond to health issues affecting wildlife and our natural ecosystems.

In a dynamic and changing global environment, with ever-increasing risk to Australia’s wildlife, WHA must grow and adapt to deliver national and global outcomes for wildlife health.

The organisation is undertaking a new strategic planning process to lay the foundations for our organisation’s future, with a 2050 Vision of “Healthy wildlife, healthy planet”.

WHA provides leadership through trusted partnerships; our stakeholders and those passionate about Australia’s wildlife are central to everything we do.

Next Step: Consultation Stage

A proposed 2050 Vision has been developed by a strategic working group of WHA Board members and staff.

We want your input to help shape our future.

We are seeking feedback before 30 November 2024 from WHA members, community and stakeholder networks on our proposed 2050 Vision and key strategic themes to be adopted in the organisation’s next strategic plan.
